Puerto Vallarta Climate

Summer in Puerto Vallarta is pleasant, though humid. Expect highs in the upper 80°F / 27°C and often higher, with a very sticky sort of feeling in the air. The heat is often relieved by an afternoon shower. September and October can be more uncomfortable than the summer due to a decreased chance of rain but residual humidity still hanging in the air.

Expect nice weather (highs in the upper 60s-upper 70s F/16-21 C) November-April, with rarely any worry of rain. Hurricane season is throughout October. December-March is the high season, when the weather is at its best, prices are highest, and the city is most crowded.
